Our Energy Efficiency consultancy practice, carrying out energy efficiency audits and providing system solutions for leading corporate clients, is looking for a qualified Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join the team. The role is to provide design and technical services to the operations team.
Principal qualifications for the advertised position are as follows:

– Degree qualified or equivalent in mechanical and electrical engineering or related discipline
– Ability to apply technical expertise and understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles to varied projects and proposals
– Preferably 3- 5 years project experience and membership of relevant professional bodies
– Flexibility to work on site or in office environment (Nicosia), as dictated by project requirements
– Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
– Drive and self motivation to continuously develop technical skills
– Strong team player who will take responsibility for achieving objectives
– Previous experience in energy efficiency or renewable energy projects an advantage

Key day to day responsibilities consist of:

– Analyse historical energy data and technical aspects of projects with respect to energy efficiency
– Produce technical reports, develop appropriate solutions and produce outline system designs
– Liaise with other specialists to ensure all technical aspects of a project are dealt with
– Ensure that information is collated to produce accurate appraisal of projects
– Produce technical specifications and budgets for all proposals and propositions
